Chapter President's Message

On behalf of the Columbus (GA) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website! We are delighted that you have taken the time to visit and invite you to explore our programs, projects, and community
initiatives.

As we enter the 2025–2026 program year, we proudly join our International President and Chair of the Board of Directors, Cheryl W. Turner, in embracing the biennium theme:
“One Delta. One Mission: Anchored in Legacy, Evolving with Intention.”

Since our chartering in February 1948, the Columbus (GA) Alumnae Chapter has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence through service. With a membership of more than 300 dynamic women, we are proud of our intergenerational sisterhood united in advancing the Sorority’s focus on scholarship, sisterhood, service, and social action.

Grounded in Delta’s Five-Point Programmatic ThrustEconomic Development; Educational Development; International Awareness and Involvement; Physical and Mental Health; and Political Awareness and Involvement — we continue to implement impactful programs and
initiatives that address the evolving needs of our community.

As we honor the legacy of those who came before us, we also look ahead with renewed purpose and intention. If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, seeking to reconnect, we warmly invite you to join us at one of our upcoming public events or chapter meetings. The Columbus (GA) Alumnae Chapter stands ready to welcome you with open arms and genuine sisterly love.

In Sisterhood and Service,
Brenda C. Williams, President
